Houston B-cycle

Launched in Downtown Houston in 2012, Houston B-cycle is a “bike sharing” program that provides a transportation alternative for people living in and visiting Houston. Intended for use on short trips in and around downtown and surrounding urban areas, Houston B-cycle lets members pick up a bike at any B-station and return it to that station or any other when they’re done. Membership can be purchased online or at a kiosk, and members can use their credit card or B-card to unlock a bike in seconds. Returning a bike is even easier as members just roll it into a dock and walk away. The onboard B-cycle trip computer allows members to track the miles they ride, the calories they burn and the carbon emissions they avoid.
