Summer Solstice Fashion Show at Hughes Hanger

Named for Houstonian Howard Hughes, Hughes Hangar is a hidden gem along the Washington Corridor. Opened in 2011, the nightlife venue combined a timeless backdrop of 1940s post-Depression architecture with modern-day wonders. The electrifying venue presented an alluring ambiance with everything from elegant dark furniture to eye-catching timeless decorative pieces that invited patrons to sit, relax and sip on handcrafted cocktails while listening to contemporary beats. Taking “gastro pub” to a higher level, Hughes Hangar offered classic bartending techniques that infused modern ideas, fresh ingredients and artisanal brands to create hand-crafted cocktails. Plus, an amazing patio offered a huge patio bar, a giant film screen, dining tables, cabana lounge seating and a stage.
