Texas Renaissance Festival

The country’s largest, most acclaimed Renaissance-themed park, the Texas Renaissance Festival is an enchanted 55-acre village that comes to life as all of Europe gathers to pay homage to the King and Queen with eight themed weekends. Hundreds of costumed performers are showcased in more than 200 daily performances while visitors meander along shaded cobblestone walkways to peruse almost 400 shops overflowing with unique arts and crafts or offering delicious food and beverages. All ages are amused by the games of skill and human-powered rides and revel in the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and beauty of this authentically recreated 16th-century British village with lush landscaped grounds and vines.
