RE/MAX Ballunar Liftoff Festival

The RE/MAX Ballunar Liftoff Festival is a unique weekend of fun at NASA/Johnson Space Center. This one-of-a-kind tribute to human flight showcases the beauty of mass hot-air balloon ascensions to the high-tech world of modern space flight. Along with the exciting collection of beautiful hot air balloons, the event also features hot-air balloon competitions, evening balloon glows, skydiving exhibitions, commercial exhibits, concession booths, food from local restaurants, arts and crafts exhibits, entertainment and various aviation equipment displays. The mission of the festival is to encourage young people to study science and mathematics and inform the public about the contributions aviation and space exploration make to our everyday lives.
