Space Center Houston Mission Control Room
The official visitors center for NASA’s Johnson Space Center, Space Center Houston is the only place on earth where guests take an out-of-this-world journey through human adventures in space with a multitude of permanent exhibits, attractions and theaters. Located in Building 30 of the Johnson Space Center, the historic Mission Control Room is where NASA monitored nine Gemini and all Apollo missions, including the historic Apollo 11 trip to the moon. From this room, preserved in its historic monitors and rotary dials, the NASA team exercised full mission control of Apollo 11 from launch and liftoff at the Kennedy Space Center to splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
