Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship

Rice University’s nationally recognized initiative, the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship (Rice Alliance), is devoted to providing entrepreneurship education and support for the commercialization of technological and other innovations and the creation of new technology companies in Texas in the Houston region. The Rice Alliance is a catalyst for building successful ventures through education, guidance and connections. Formed in 2000 as a strategic alliance between three schools—the George R. Brown School of Engineering, the Wiess School of Natural Sciences and the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business—the Rice Alliance works in collaboration with Rice University’s Vice Provost and the Office of Research.
