Discovery Green

A beautiful, vibrant park in the heart of Downtown Houston, Discovery Green opened to the public in April 2008 and is now the downtown area’s premier green space. Surrounded by the George R. Brown Convention Center, hotels and downtown sports arenas, the dynamic park includes two restaurants, a kids’ play area, a manmade lake, two dog runs, a multiuse amphitheater, event lawn space and more.
