Owners Chef Philippe Verpiand and Monica Bui have created an inviting, warm European environment at Étoile Cuisine et Bar, where fine French food is front and center. Chef Verpiand moved to Houston from San Diego because of the city’s strong economic health. The Étoile Cuisine et Bar space is casual with whitewashed wood and wine racks designed by Verpiand’s wife Monica. Chef Philippe exceeds guests’ culinary expectations with a memorable dining experience at Étoile that brings local ingredients and modern food concepts to authentic French/Mediterranean cuisine.
