Bayou City Event Center

The Bayou City Event Center is a large event venue centrally located near the Texas Medical Center. Comprising five distinct areas ready to host an elegant event, the Bayou City Event Center’s focal point is the Grand Ballroom that can host up to 2,500 guests or be split into smaller function areas. Opened in April 2011, the center also features the Lakeview Ballroom, a smaller room with large picture windows and a beautiful fireplace for up to 100 banquet guests. A feast for the eyes, the interior of the Bayou City Event Center was designed with meticulous attention to detail, such as the ballroom ceilings’ extensive decorative ornamentation with carved-plaster crown moldings, corbels and high-end lighting fixtures. In the foyer, highly polished custom-designed tile flooring is set into an intricate pattern.
