Union Pacific - Englewood Yard
A railroad “hump yard” owned and operated by the Union Pacific Railroad, Englewood Yard is located near Liberty Road in northeast Houston. One of the largest rail yards in Union Pacific’s system and most certainly the biggest in Houston, Englewood was originally a Southern Pacific facility until Union Pacific bought out Southern Pacific in 1996.
