Houston Humane Society Annual K-9 Fun Run and Walk

Houston’s oldest dog run and walk, the annual Houston Humane Society Annual K-9 Fun Run and Walk lets dog owners and their furry friends participate in a one-mile competitive run or noncompetitive jog/walk. After the race, the party features various vendor booths, music, food, entertainment, dog-training demonstrations and more. Held at Sam Houston Park in Downtown Houston, the fun-filled day with family, friends and four-legged pals also features a doggy costume contest, an alumni walk, interactive activities and more all proceeds from which directly benefit the Houston Humane Society.
