U.S.Men’s National Rugby Team, The Eagles vs. Scotland

International Rugby made an impact at BBVA Compass Stadium with a match between USA and Scotland on June 7, 2014. The U.S. Men’s National Rugby Team, the Eagles, hosted the Scottish Rugby Union and was one of the only international matches held in the United States in 2014. The USA vs. Scotland World Cup Preview Match offered rugby fans an opportunity to witness Scotland face off on American soil against the Eagles. The teams previously had met in the 2003 IRB Rugby World Cup in Australia, where the Eagles lost 15-39; and when the Eagles qualified for the 2015 IRB Rugby World Cup in England and were placed in Pool B with Scotland.
