Houston Children’s Festival

Begun in 1988 and originally known as the “Children for Children Festival,” the Houston Children’s Festival is one of Houston’s signature events. Developed into a primary fund-raiser for Child Advocates, the festival has an annual attendance of more than 50,000 people, having proven more than two decades of success for sponsors, the community, participants and Child Advocates, which serves abused and neglected children. The festival consistently has provided high-quality educational and fun entertainment in a family-friendly atmosphere. Offering several stages, the festival is divided into themed Family Adventure Zones and delivers more than 300 exciting activities, with programming carefully aimed at specific age groups and interests.
