Field of Light - Bruce Munro

A dazzling art installation by internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro, Field of Light is a notable feature of Discovery Green. Comprising 4,500 radiant, frosted-glass spheres on slender stems all connect by illuminated fiber optics, Field of Light blooms with gentle rhythms of colored light as darkness comes to the park. Conceived originally in the red desert of central Australia, Field of Light was sketched from a landscape of illuminated stems that would only would bloom at night.
