The upscale River Oaks neighborhood takes its stately and showy properties to the next level during December as homeowners and decorators outdo themselves, wrapping grand old oak trees in glistening white lights that dangle and cascade from limbs and branches. All the streets offer some spectacle to enjoy, but it’s common opinion that the most breathtaking view is at the corner of Inwood Drive and River Oaks Boulevard and the brightly lit palm trees that line West Gray east of South Shepherd.
