Chapel of St. Basil

Adjacent to Houston’s Museum District, the University of St. Thomas offers academic excellence that attracts students from all over the world. Designed by Philip Johnson, the stunning Chapel of St. Basil on the north end of the campus’s Academic Mall is iconic in its design and anchors the various buildings that house the university’s various academic disciplines and scholarly activities. Facing one another, the buildings are open to each other to signify the interdependence of all academic pursuits.
