Winter Street Studios

Serving the art community in the First Ward since 2005, Winter Street Studios makes its home in a former moving and storage building from the 1920s at 2101 Winter Street. Providing a home for more than 90 artists in 75 working artist studios that support the flourishing art community in First Ward, Winter Street Studio and its sister studio, Spring Street Studios (with another 70 working art studios and more than 90 local creatives), benefit artists, art lovers and the whole community. With increasing cultural additions like Winter Street Studios located near downtown, this area is quickly becoming known as the up-and-coming Houston’s Arts District.
