Galleria Skyline

A satellite central business district in Houston beyond the downtown area, The Galleria area is a center for many of Houston’s premier shopping centers and hotels. The district is named for the presence of The Galleria mall, an international shopping destination with a “Who’s Who” list of designers as well as upscale boutiques and anchor stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and two Macy’s, that add up to more than 2 million square feet of retail space. Also home to an array of high-rise condos and hospitality properties, The Galleria area is anchored by Westheimer Road, Houston’s main thoroughfare, and Post Oak Boulevard.
