1100 Louisiana
A 55-story skyscraper in the heart of Houston’s energy and financial corridor in Downtown Houston, Enterprise Plaza (also 1100 Louisiana) was developed in 1980 by real estate investor Hines. Rising from a grand plaza that occupies almost a quarter of the block, the tower was the tallest building in Texas until 1982 when the JPMorgan Chase Tower surpassed it. Clad in polished Spanish Rose granite with rose-colored windows, the building’s south and east curtainwall features a series of large stepped bays at the top of the building.
