Built in 1926, Eleanor Tinsley Park covers the beautiful locations of Buffalo Bayou, Taft Street, Sabine Street and Allen Parkway. Its sloping hills, evergreen trees, picnic tables and swing sets make it an excellent place to relax. Grand celebrations with fireworks take place here every year on the Fourth of July in addition to other great festivals. and with its unique and innovative lighting, Buffalo Bayou remains a safe place to stay active even after the sun goes down.
