Calf Scramble

One of the headlining rodeo events at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the very popular Calf Scramble, a contest featuring 14 calves and 28 students who have applied for the opportunity trying to harness the calves and wrangle them to the winner’s square. Students who succeed then care for and prepare their prize calves for the following year; the winner returns with a $250 bonus prize.
