Kid's Country

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is a fast-paced, daredevil show of cowboys riding steer, bulls and wild broncs in the stadium arena while a miniature version of the action happens on the rodeo’s carnival grounds in a place known as Kids Country. Participants between the ages of 5 and 6 years old, weighing less than 55 pounds, can try to Mutton Bust, which means holding on tight to a sheep for eight seconds.
