Camel Ride at Carnival

An experience far beyond its name, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, or Rodeo Houston, is the world’s largest live entertainment and livestock exhibition and so much more. The city’s “signature event,” the festivities would never be complete without the massive carnival that is set up every year in the NRG Park parking lots, offering a variety of rides and activities for all ages as well as all the best carnival foods, like caramel apples, funnel cakes and cotton candy. Head to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Kids Country to get up-close and personal with some amazing animals ranging from common domestic livestock to exotic attractions like majestic camels. Adventurous kids can even hitch a ride on one of these awesome creatures that have crossed the world’s deserts for thousands of years.
