Houston Astros - Opening Day 2016

The Astros Opening Series vs. the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals marks the first meeting of the two teams since Game 5 of the 2015 American League Division Series. The Astros open the 2016 season at home on Monday, April 11. Astros starter Colin McHugh held the world champs scoreless through seven innings. Colby Rasmus continued the Crush City tradition with a two-run home run, and the heart of the line-up kept the momentum going with hits from Carlos Correa, Tyler White, and Jose Altuve, who also contributed with two stolen bases. The Astros won the game 8-2.
