Houston Ballet Center for Dance

Housing the Houston Ballet Center for Dance, the Ben Stevenson Academy is a training and rehearsal facility that develops more than half of the ballet’s company. Maintained by the Houston Ballet Foundation, the Ben Stevenson Academy boasts a prime location on the banks of Buffalo Bayou. Connected to the Wortham Center by an overhead walkway at Smith at Preston, the handsome modern building boldly welcomes visitors to the city’s historic area and the Houston Theater District. Operated by the Houston Ballet Foundation, The Houston Ballet is the fifth largest professional ballet company in the United States.
