Houston Symphony Orchestra
Jesse H. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts is home of the Houston Symphony Orchestra. The Houston Symphony Orchestra began performing in 1913 and is one of America's oldest performing arts organizations, with a rich history of musical excellence. Every season the Symphony prepares and showcases variety of shows. These shows cater to the taste of the kids, young and old alike. It plays the most conventional symphony arrangements for Broadway, Hollywood and other performing artists. The Orchestra also plays a number of classic compositions for many opera performances. However, the most spectacular concert shows are the Symphony's own that are specially created to capture the harmony of each season.
