Houston Zoo – Annual Fundraising Ball

The Houston Zoo showcases the world’s ecosystems that supports more than 6,000 animals and countless plant species and provide a fun, educational experience that promotes appreciation, knowledge and care for the natural world. Found within Houston’s famed Hermann Park, the Houston Zoo is home to creatures big and small from all over the world and shows adults and children ways they can protect the prosperity of the animals that they love. Open year-round, the Houston Zoo brings visitors up close with the worlds of Africa, Asia and Borneo right in the heart of the city while providing private event opportunities with turnkey resources and unique animal encounters that can make an evening truly wilde and spectacular. The Houston Zoo hosted its annual black tie ball, featuring late night bites, cocktails, dancing and live music. Guests in black-tie and ball gowns were among the first Houstonians to meet the city's newest residents, seven western lowland gorillas at the Houston Zoo. This highly-anticipated, state-of-the-art new habitat connects Houstonians to the lush forests of Africa in a full-sensory experience, and brings gorillas back to Houston after an 11-year absence.
