Ezekiel W. Cullen Building
Opened in 1950, the Ezekiel W. Cullen Building serves as administrative headquarters for the University of Houston System. Named for Ezekiel Wimberly Cullen, a congressman of the Republic of Texas and grandfather of building financier Hugh Roy Cullen, the iconic Art Deco building is located in the Cullen Family Plaza on the University of Houston campus. While the west portion houses the office of the university president and other administrators, the eastern part of the building is known as the Cullen Performance Hall.
