Houston Dynamo

Representing the American Major League Soccer in Houston, the Houston Dynamo club was founded in 2005 and began playing in the MLS in 2006. The team originally played at the University of Houston’s Robertson Stadium before moving to its very own BBVA Compass Stadium during the 2012 season. In the team’s first two years, the Houston Dynamo won the 2006 and 2007 MLS Cups and has been a top contender ever since. The Houston Dynamo is owned by majority owners Anschutz Entertainment Group in partnership with Brener International Group and world and Olympic boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya.
