ArBOOretum at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center

A great way for families to enjoy Halloween festivities in nature is ArBOOretum at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center near Memorial Park. At this event, children and grownups wear costumes and comfortable shoes while they enjoy a forest trail with scattered trick-or-treat locations and spots with activities that help children learn about animals that hunt at night, including bats, bobcats, coyotes and more.
