Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas - Houston Branch
One of three branches of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, the Houston Branch is located on Allen Parkway in the Fourth Ward. The colorful building, which holds the second largest currency vault in the country, was designed by architect Michael Graves. The Houston Branch is central to the bank’s interactions with the community. Standing tall above a popular city park and roadway, the building frames many civic events that happen here throughout the year and has become an integral part of Houston’s daily life, serving as a landmark and gateway to downtown and a catalyst for revitalization in one of Houston’s most significant historical neighborhoods.
