Humble Oil Building
A historic office building designed in the Italian Renaissance style, the Humble Oil Building is located at 1212 Main Street and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Constructed by Humble Oil and Refining Company in 1921, its tower section was added to the building in 1936. From 1921 until 1963, the building complex served as company headquarters for the Humble Oil and Refining Company until it moved into the ExxonMobil Building at 800 Bell Street. In 2003, the complex was renovated as a combination hotel and apartments, which were themselves converted into the Spring Hill Suites in 2015.
