Terminal E at George Bush Intercontinental Airport
The George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is named after George H. W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States. Serving the city of Houston and the Gulf Coast region in Southeast Texas, the airport is one of the top five in the world and continues to attract more air carriers and add more destination points. Considered one of the most international-friendly points of entry for foreign travelers, IAH sits about 23 miles north of Downtown Houston. With five long runways and an annual passenger count of more than 40 million, IAH is a hub to United Airlines and is served by a multitude of major airlines offering direct and connecting flights to countless U.S. and global destinations. Terminal E houses the airport’s Federal Inspection Services and serves the international traveler with a design that streamlines the customs, immigration and baggage processes for visitors coming to Houston.
